ASHGROVE

Ashgrove, Brisbane, QLD

One of our favourite suburbs in Brisbane, Ashgrove is a sprawling, lush suburb in Brisbane’s inner-north west. Home to beautiful streets, parks and creeks, excellent schools, and a bustling shopping precinct, Ashgrove is extremely family-friendly, and has a distinct community spirit shaped by its proximity to Enoggera Barracks, with many current and ex-serving military members living there.

The housing in Ashgrove is a mixture of classic Queenslanders, modern builds and older brick apartments and townhouses. It is an extremely well-established suburbs with leafy streets and houses sitting on larger blocks. It is undulating, which can make walking more tiring and makes some properties susceptible to flooding.

The suburb stretches a long distance from east to west, with two distinct shopping districts - Ashgrove and Ashgrove West. Enoggera Creek runs throughout the suburb, which offers a great sheltered walking track and bikeway.

Ashgrove is one of Brisbane’s most consistent investment performers for houses, powered by its proximity to the CBD, very limited supply of housing and attractive amenity and services offering.
