EVERTON PARK
Everton Park, Brisbane, QLD
Everton Park is a gentrifying suburb located 10 km north of the Brisbane CBD. The suburb has become known for its emerging cafe and dining precinct including the new Park Lane development on Stafford Road, as well as a range of different housing types, including modern houses, older post-wars, townhouses and apartments.
Everton Park is bordered by the suburbs of Mitchelton, Enoggera, Everton Hills, Stafford and McDowall. It’s main shopping and cafe precinct is located on the corner of South Pine Road and Stafford Road. This is a very busy intersection which frequently has traffic snarls, so living to its south is highly-desirable!
There are direct bus connections with the CBD. Everton Park is also within a short drive to several train stations (Enoggera, Gaythorne, Mitchelton, and Oxford Park).
The area is home to a number of high-quality private and public schools including Northside Christian College, Prince of Peace Lutheran College, Everton Park State School, and Everton Park State High School.
Teralba Park is a very large green space with playgrounds, sports fields, a dog exercise area, cycle and walking paths. Residents often use the cycle path along Kedron Brook to commute to the CBD.
Gallipoli Barracks, home of the Army’s 7th Brigade, located in the neighbouring Enoggera, is a major employer in the area, and keeps demand for housing in the suburb strong.
